Experience Overview
Organized in coordination with the Finnish National Agency for Education, these visits allow delegates to enter local classrooms in Helsinki. Observe firsthand how school furniture, acoustics, and color layouts are optimized to promote concentration, equity, and mental wellbeing.
Learning Outcomes
- Study classroom furniture layout structures that support active, peer-to-peer learning formats.
- Observe support mechanisms and individual education plans (IEPs) designed for students with special needs in inclusive settings.
- Understand the scheduling balance between academic periods and outdoor recesses (15-minute breaks every 45 minutes).
- Acquire blueprints for flexible layouts to implement directly inside Indian school campuses.
